The H.I.K.E. 2019 ….is over…and it was a resounding success. With over $12,000.00 (US) raised!!!!!
Our quest to fulfill 100 promises to help100 kids be prepared for school this year has been fulfilled!!!

What is The H.I.K.E.?
The H.I.K.E. is a fund-raising event born out of a crazy idea that hatched last year. What started as a chat about visiting friends in England soon became a plan to walk across the width of England. C’mon, why not? Right? Our intrepid team covered the 150 km following the Hadrian’s Wall Path.
Our feet had just begun to cool down, and our blisters were not fully healed when we thought…let’s do this again…next year! C’mon, why not? Right?
Our goal is out-do ourselves. In 2018 we walked 150 km across a country and great folks joined us (in spirit) and donated over $6100.00. This year we are going to take on a 165 km trek around a country and we’ve set the goal at $10,312.00! All proceeds are invested into kids’ lives through education.
The location has been set, the dates are on the calendar, the team is training, and all systems are a Go.
