With the recent passing of Propel’s co-founder, Mary D Triller, many people have been asking what is next for The Propel Initiative, Inc. Good question.
The question has been asked by supporters, student sponsors, and a number of the parents whose kids Propel serves.
I’m sure you can understand that over these past six weeks my attention has been focused closer to home. Right now, I can assure everyone of this, Propel will definitely meet all of its commitments to our students for the 2026 school year. We are also working on the Summer Education Camps. Plus, The H.I.K.E. 2026 is being planned. So, rest assured, we are still here.
Beyond 2026? Honestly, I don’t know. Mary was the heart and soul of the organization. With her gone, there is a huge void. My hope is we can continue the legacy she started. She’d like that.
