- there are many ways to show compassion, but far too often, guilty help only makes poverty more comfortable.

Real change, long-term, life-altering, generational change can be brought about. The vicious cycle of poverty and its cause-ignorance-can be replaced through education.
- Finishing 4th grade with basic math, reading, and writing skills cuts the odds of a Serbian Roma kid growing up in poverty…in half!!!
- Help that same kid through high school, and those odds are cut by 86%!
- All of Propel’s efforts, programs, and dreams are centered on getting these kids through school.

- Launchpad: A series of parent-child workshops designed to teach the moms and dads how they are their kids’ best first teachers. Proper preschool preparation greatly increases a child’s odds of educational success. More info here.
x - Sponsorship: School is free to the public, but textbooks and supplies often costs as much as a few month’s work for the Roma families. Propel raises support for these items through a sponsorship program. The love and sacrifice of a sponsor is converted into a new future for these kids. More info here.
